Nestled among the historic buildings on Adamson Square, Mayfest has become one of the largest arts and crafts festivals in the West Georgia area.Featuring an array of handmade goods vendors exhibiting everything from paintings and pottery to baskets and bows, we promise there will be something for everyone. The delicious food vendors will tickle your tastebuds with southern specialties and festival treats. Kids (and those young at heart) will love the Children’s Village, which features rock climbing, inflatables, slides, games and prizes that are both family and budget friendly. Mayfest is open to vendors with products and crafts that are handmade. Solicitation is not permitted. Vendor applications are being accepted now.

Touch-a-Truck Event

Carrollton Parks and Recreation Department is partnering with our local Home Depot and many local merchants for a morning of big trucks, tractors, inflatables, food and a kids’ workshop for your children to build things. Vehicles that will be on site include fire truck, police car and motorcycle, backhoe, bucket truck, ambulance, gator, school bus, 18-wheeler truck, tow truck, military vehicle, Carroll County SWAT moblie, monster truck, boone truck, classic antique car. Participating local mercants are Carrollton Fire and Police Dept, Carrollton Rec Dept, West Ga Ambulance, Home Depot, West Ga. Tech College, John Deere, TCR Towing, Dobbins Air Force Base, Carroll County Sheriff’s Office, Scott Evans Car Dealership, Georgia Power and Harrison Contracting.We will also have inflatables, hotdogs, popcorn and a kids’ workshop. This big event is free to our community.  Come join us in the Carrollton Home Depot parking lot to explore!

McIntosh Reserve Fall Festival

Carroll County Parks Department presents the 33rd McIntosh Reserve Fall Festival at McIntosh Reserve Park, Whitesburg, September 28 – 29th, 2019, 10 am until 5 pm. Arts/crafts/music/Native American dance demonstrations/food & fun for all ages. Booths open at 10 am both days. Road through festival area closes at 10 am. Primitive camping available. Taste of Carrollton

Come discover what makes Carrollton altogether delicious at the 28th Annual Taste of Carrollton. Purchase tickets to exchange for bite-sized culinary creations and specialty items from our local restaurants. A food and brew package is also available for purchase.

Tickets are $1 each and “tastes” are priced between 1-4 tickets. Tickets are on sale now and will be available for purchase at the Main Street Office (Train Depot), Merle Norman Cosmetics, and Horton’s Bookstore. Or purchase advance ticket packages online here.

Food and Brew Package
Food and Brew Package is $25 and includes 5 food tickets, wristband, souvenir cup and koozie. Click here to purchase in advance. To redeem, bring email confirmation and valid ID to the Carrollton tent, located in the center of Adamson. Packages will be available for purchase during the event at the Carrollton tent. Must be 21 or older, while supplies last.
