Artist Guidelines

Please make sure you can attend the dates you select in the application.  Participants who back out of the event after they are accepted may not be invited back to future events. There is no participation fee.

Entry Requirements and Guidelines:
    • All work must be original and handmade by the artist.
    • Work must be able to be viewed by all ages.
    • If you would also be interested in doing a demonstration of your work, please let us know.
    • Participants are required to provide all the materials necessary to setup a display of their work including tables, chairs and extension cords.
Application Deadline: 
First come, first served. Once all spots have been filled for both dates this application will close and all inquiries will be placed on a waiting list.

Date Availability

Check the date(s) you are available to attend. Only check dates you can commit to. There are a limited number of spots and application will close once all spots are filled. You may check more than one date.

Location Selection

Select the location you prefer for each date you are available. We will try our best to honor your preference.

Please submit 3-5 images of your work. Label your images WITH YOUR NAME.
The entry of your artwork constitutes your acceptance of these terms: I understand the City of Carrollton/ Center for the Arts, the downtown merchants, and University of West Georgia will NOT insure or protect works against fire, theft, and vandalism, and are not liable for nicks, dents, scratches, and/or other breakage. ● I hereby release and discharge the officers and employees of the above listed from any and all claims occasioned by damages or loss of artwork during the event. ● Permission to reproduce the artwork for publicity purposes is granted. ● Receiving Payment for purchase of artwork, including GA sales tax, shall be the responsibility of the Artist. If the artwork is sold, the event will retain a 0% commission on sales. The artist will receive 100% of personal sales. ● The setup, installation, display, break down and clean-up of the exhibition remains the sole responsibility of the Artist. ● Demonstration of technique will only be allowed at the discretion of the City of Carrollton and Art Takeover committee. ● I understand that if I am accepted and cannot attend the event, I must notify the Takeover committee immediately so that a replacement may be found.
