Arts Commission

The Arts Commission is responsible for advising the city on developing strategic plans for the arts center. The Carrollton Arts Commissioners can be viewed at the link below.

Carrollton Redevelopment Authority

The Carrollton Redevelopment Authority (CRA) works to revitalize and redevelop the urban, central city, and downtown areas (project areas) of the City of Carrollton, as well as promote and expand public facilities, including the construction of streets, businesses, roadways, parks, transportation systems, vehicular parking facilities, and any and all other necessary and desirable appurtenances to revitalize and modernize these project areas. 

The CRA meets on an as-needed basis and meeting notices are conducted according to state law.

The Downtown Carrollton Advisory Board meets monthly to discuss downtown-related ideas, issues, upcoming events, review grant applications and more. Our board is a dedicated group that is passionate about Carrollton’s downtown. Historic Preservation Commission

The Historic Preservation Commission meets on the Fourth Tuesday of the Month.

Payroll Development Authority

The Carrollton Payroll Development Authority (CPDA) works to promote industry, trade and commerce to fuel job opportunities and economic prosperity for the citizens of Carroll County. The Authority consists of five members: the mayor of the City of Carrollton, the president of the Carroll County Chamber of Commerce (or its successor) and three other appointed members who must be residents of Carroll County.

The CPDA meets on an as-needed basis and meeting notices are conducted according to state law.
