Bring your trick-or-treaters, ages 12 and younger, to Adamson Square on October 31, for an altogether spooktacular day. From 9-11 am, kids will “mask”uerade along a one-way, socially-distanced path through each quad, collecting their candy and goodies. Merchants will be stationed outside and will place wrapped candy in trick-or-treaters’ bags. Roving judges will recognize outstanding costumes. All participants are encouraged to wear face masks.

Nestled among the historic buildings on Adamson Square, Mayfest has become one of the largest arts and crafts festivals in the West Georgia area.
Featuring an array of handmade goods vendors exhibiting everything from paintings and pottery to baskets and bows, we promise there will be something for everyone. The delicious food vendors will tickle your tastebuds with southern specialties and festival treats. Kids (and those young at heart) will love the Children’s Village, which features rock climbing, inflatables, slides, games and prizes that are both family and budget-friendly.
More than 25 private businesses are paired with skilled artists from our community. Participants stroll the downtown area experiencing art, entertainment, food and drink at these locations. A concert by Tyler Lyle at the Amp will cap off this year’s festivities. Art Takeover is a collaboration between Carrollton Main Street, Carrollton Center for the Arts and the University of West Georgia Art Department. Free
One of the largest parades in Carrollton. Enjoy the pageantry of the season and celebrate Christmas as a community. Organized by Carrollton Main Street. Come early to do some Christmas shopping! No parking along Bradley Thursday, Dec. 5, after 2pm. Adamson Square, Bradley Street and Rome Street to the library will be closed to through traffic beginning around 5pm until after parade.
Market Day is a festival created to bring together Carroll County’s farmers, makers, and neighbors to the heart of Downtown Carrollton. Set the mood for your Saturday by strolling downtown shopping unique items from local craftsmen and artisans and celebrating the people who make Carrollton altogether original. The inaugural Carrollton Half Marathon presented by Tanner Health System will take place on September 7, 2019. The 13.1 mile course will take you from Carrollton’s Historic Adamson Square, through city proper and nearly 9 smooth miles over shaded, rolling hills on the city’s new multi-use bike/running path, the GreenBelt. The beautiful route finishes back at Adamson Square for a finish line festival not to be missed, featuring live music, local food vendors, and beer from local craft breweries. Register individually to take on the race or be a part of a 2, 3, or 4 person relay team! This course makes a great event for first timers, those looking for a half marathon personal best, or an end-of-summer tune up for fall marathon season. Registration includes an inaugural Carrollton Half Marathon T-shirt, finisher’s medal, and free food and drink tickets to the post-race festivities.
