Free COVID-19 Testing in Carroll

Beginning June 8, 2020, free coronavirus testing will be available in our community due to the efforts of several local organizations and individuals. Appointments are not required and you do not have to be exhibiting COVID-19 symptoms to be tested. Walk-ups are welcome. Testing sites, dates and times are below:

The chorus’ spring concert is centered around music that celebrates home. Our local signature song was written by Ed Hogan. The concert will feature music by other composers and songwriters from Georgia, including Carroll County’s Thomas A. Dorsey, the Father of Gospel Music.  Directed by Jack Gantt.

McIntosh Reserve Fall Festival

September 28 @ 6:00 am September 29 @ 1:00 pm

Carroll County Parks Department presents the 33rd McIntosh Reserve Fall Festival at McIntosh Reserve Park, Whitesburg, September 28 – 29th, 2019, 10 am until 5 pm. Arts/crafts/music/Native American dance demonstrations/food & fun for all ages. Booths open at 10 am both days. Road through festival area closes at 10 am. Primitive camping available. The McIntosh Reserve Park Fall Festival will be held on September 28-29. The Festival will be open to the public from 10 am to 5 pm on both Saturday and Sunday. The FOMR organization will be represented at the Festival on both days. $5 per vehicle parking
