The City of Carrollton Mayor and Council will hold a meeting on Thursday, August 17, 2023 at 11 am at City Hall, 315 Bradley Street, Carrollton GA 30117. Elected officials, downtown master plan steering committee members, city staff and consultants from Carl Vinson Institute of Government will meet regarding draft updates of the Carrollton Downtown Master Plan. A quorum of elected officials will be present, no voting of city business will occur at this meeting.
A regularly-scheduled Mayor & Council Work Session will still be held on this same date, Thursday, August 17, 2023 at 9am at City Hall, 315 Bradley Street, Carrollton GA 30117. The following items will be on the agenda: millage rate (voting item), bid award – Canterbury Dr culvert replacement (voting item), capital project updates discussion, discussion of rezoning request at 0 Myrtle Street (C02 0270008) from R-20 to R-10, discussion of rezoning request at 424 Dixie St from O-I to C-3, Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Grant Program Review & Discussion, city manager report and an executive session. Voting of city business will occur at this meeting.
