Position Information
Description: The lifeguard serves as a vital member of the pool staff to provide safety for the patrons. They are directly responsible to the Aquatics Manager. Must be Certified in American Red Cross as a Professional Rescuer in Lifeguard/First Aid and in CPR/AED.

Training and Qualifications: Must be 16 years of age or older and Certified in American Red Cross as a Professional Rescuer in Lifeguard/First Aid and in CPR/AED. If not certified upon receipt of application, must become so prior to working.

Duties: Cleans the pool, deck, office, and outside areas before, during, and after public hours. Takes care of any hazard or reports it to the pool manager as equal rotation with manager. Maintains order and enforces rules.
