Written by Dennis Blackmon and Regina Wells, this musical is the epic love story of Martin Luther King, Jr. and Coretta Scott King, framed by the fires of the American Civil Rights era. The young couple leaves their safe, prestigious life in Atlanta for what should be the quiet town of Montgomery, Alabama. Martin is thrust into the spotlight, leading what turns out to be a year-long bus boycott as the two become parents and the city explodes with the fight for civil rights.
