Greenhouse Open House

Take a guided tour of our city greenhouse at the Facilities Maintenance Complex in East Carrollton Park. During this tour, you will go behind the scenes and discover the inner workings of one of our city’s greatest assets. Appropriate attire is required and no open-toe shoes are allowed. Plants will not be available for purchase.

Itinerary

1. Introduction: The tour guide will provide a brief overview of the greenhouse and its purposes.
2. Tour of the Greenhouse: You will walk through various sections of the greenhouse, including the growing area and the nursery,
3. Behind-the-Scenes: Get a glimpse into the behind-the-scenes operations for the city’s hanging baskets.
4. Questions and Answers: The tour guide will be available to answer any questions about the greenhouse and its functions.
