The Carrollton BookFest will host activities for readers and writers.
Friday: Three all-day workshops for writers will include Bren McClain’s master class, What’s Working? Do More of That!, Pathways to Publication with George Weinstein and Kim Conrey and So You Want to Write for Children with Lola Schaefer.
Saturday: Conversation in an intimate setting with regional and national bestselling authors, Mary Martha Green “The Cheese Biscuit Queen,” George Weinstein and Kim Conrey and Bret Witter, co-author of Monument Men. New York Times bestselling author Karen White will deliver the keynote address in the afternoon. Wine and cheese will accompany the conversations in the afternoon with Terah Shelton Harris (One Summer in Savannah and Long After We Are Gone), McCraken Posten Jr (Zenith Man) and Lynn Cullen, bestselling author of historical fiction focused on unsung women.
