The Carrollton Mayor and Council will hold a budget retreat on Wednesday, April 17, 2024 from 12pm to 6pm, Thursday, April 18, 2024 from 8am to 4pm and Friday, April 19, 2024 7am to 12pm. A work session will be held during the budget retreat on Wednesday, April 17, 2024, from 3:30pm to 5pm. Both the budget retreat and work session will be held at the Auburn Marriott Opelika Resort, 3700 Robert Trent Jones Trail, Opelika, AL 36801.
The purpose of the Budget Retreat and Work Session is to review and prepare for the FY25 Budget, discuss a rezoning request at 555 Chaucer Lane, discuss a Site Plan Amendment request at Carrollton 166 Bypass/portion of 196 Folds Road, discuss a UDO Amendment for signage downtown, discuss a code amendment for regulation of wine bars, discuss Midtown Waterpark Improvements Project, discuss board appointments for the Carrollton Area Convention & Visitors Bureau, discuss the city manager report, discuss upcoming year strategic planning and have an Executive Session.
