Art Takeover Artist Application


Art Takeover 2022: Thursday, March 31 / 5pm – 8pm 
Setup Time: March 31 / 12pm – 5pm

Application and Images Due: Monday, February 28, 2022 

Area artists are invited to be a part of Art Takeover in Downtown Carrollton. Follow the guidelines below to apply. A selection committee will review all submissions and choose each year’s participating artists. Those selected will be notified by email and informed of their area for set up by Friday, March 4, 2022. There are no fees to enter.

Please make sure you can attend Art Takeover. Artists who back out of the event after being accepted may not be invited back in subsequent years. 

Entry Requirements and Guidelines: 
● All work must be original and handmade by the artist. 
● A minimum of three pieces must be submitted for review and a minimum of four pieces must be available for the event. 
● Work must be appropriately presented (framed, gallery wrap, matted and sleeved, etc.). 
● Work must be viewable by all ages. 
● Artists interested in doing a demonstration of their work should notify the Center for the Arts. 
● Artists must provide all materials needed to set up a display of their work.
